Birding Sri Lanka: 2012

Warapitiya is a small village situated in Knuckles range in Matale district.In My Village we can see more than 100 species of birds. and more than 10 Endemic species out of all 33 in Sri Lanka.In this time I've been stay in Warapitiya from 10/04/2012 to 17/04/2012..... I'm using Nikon P500 12.5 MP camera.

Malabe is a town and municipal area in the Colombo District, Sri Lanka. It is situated on the Kandy road (A1) Road about 16 km away from the centre of the commercial capital Colombo. Regarded as a modern, hi-tech, secure and prosperous city in Sri Lanka, Malabe covers (14 km²) and ranks as the 2nd largest city by size.

My place is situated in Malabe, very close to city.but this area has lots of beautiful birds,both endemic and non endemic too.there is a wet land call Thalangama wet land also situated in malabe.and it was a grate place for birding.
